SolidWorks 2010 Roll Out: Boosting the economy through engineers

CADVenture will host a product launch of the new SolidWorks 2010 on October 14, 2009, at their Mentor, OH offices.

MENTOR, OH, Sep 9, 2009 - CADVenture Inc., the leading SolidWorks 3D Mechanical CAD reseller in North America is gearing up to roll out it’s SolidWorks 2010 software release at its Mentor location.— The economy has been a challenging time for all in Northeast Ohio. The Mentor based company wants to explore how it can regain our competitive position.

On October 14, 2009 the company with host a product launch for SolidWorks 2010. This event will focus on re-inventing manufacturing in North East Ohio. CADVenture will show how leading technologies such as SolidWorks 3D CAD, data management tools, structural analysis tools, and design automation can help companies get products to market faster, create better quality products and lower costs associated with utilizing manufacturing. Technical break out sessions will focus on the “how to” aspects of these tools. These sessions are primarily intended for the engineering and design community.

A management track will feature breakouts for managers wishing to explore how efficiencies can be realized by utilizing these tools to reduce and eliminate repetitive tasks within the engineering, design and manufacturing processes. The purpose is to show managers what can be done to strengthen their competitive position.

The day will include a CEO panel discussion led by Barry Wehmiller Incorporated (BWIR) and power2, Inc. This discussion will focus on a concept called C2O. C2O transforms manufacturers into efficient innovators by accelerating engineering productivity and time to market. One major benefit of C2O is that it shows manufacturers how to increase their quotation conversion rates.

CADVenture also plans to unveil their plans for a high-tech accelerator that will be housed in their new facility in Mentor. This accelerator will provide high-tech startups with the technological infrastructure that often proves to be a barrier to market entry. In other words, start-ups can rent space that includes such things as 3D CAD stations, 3D printers and canners, etc. CADVenture has been in discussions with the CIty of Mentor to help launch this project for approximately one year.

CADVenture a Northeast Ohio company, has been providing service, training, and technical consulting professionals in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Western New York since 1985.

This event provides the chance to show engineers how they could have an edge to their competitors by utilizing this unique program. Some companies that utilize the SolidWorks software include; Swagelok, Nordson, Bettcher Industries, General Electric, and NASA.
