A Letter from the President

CADVenture, Inc. has evolved from humble beginnings in 1985 and has been blessed with great employees and great clients around the Great Lakes Region. In fact, many of our customers have been with us since our inception. The reason for this has become increasingly clear to many of you over the years. While other CAD resellers sell software, we take it a step further. We’re concerned with the VALUE of services we provide that enhance your SolidWorks experience. We have grown our install base by listening to our customers and filling the needs they bring to us. In return, our clients have been the ones who have spread the news of SolidWorks and the services we provide allowing us to grow as a company.

There are three primary reasons for our growth:

  1. A great core product in SolidWorks
  2. Employees dedicated to pushing the technology envelope
  3. Customers that aren’t satisfied with the status quo

SolidWorks truly was a paradigm shift for the CAD industry. It provided ease of use, affordability, and sophisticated technology allowing engineers to perform extremely complex tasks with relative ease. The innovation that the design and engineering communities have experienced with SolidWorks has and continues to lead the industry. There has never been such a customer centric company like SolidWorks in our industry and arguably, there may never be another again.

Our employees have a passion for SolidWorks that shows. Rather than being content, we as a company have decided that it is our responsibility to continually push the envelope and redefine the role of CAD reseller. We have a simple goal: to improve productivity, increase efficiency and accelerate information flow by empowering end users and support technicians to work together in new and exciting ways.

The biggest mistake many technology companies make, whether they're hardware– or software-oriented, is thinking that consumers want choice, because choice equals freedom. However, what consumers want is satisfaction, too much choice leads to less satisfaction. We sell SolidWorks and ONLY Solidworks because it is simply the best CAD product on the market (Period).

With that said, you will continue to see many firsts in this industry initiated by our company. As SolidWorks leads the industry for the innovation inherent in its software, so too will CADVenture continue to innovate in terms of the support offerings and services available to our customers.

We were the first (and only as far as I know) to offer FREE monthly Tech-Talk sessions (one on one project specific training) to our subscription customers. The first to offer a proprietary computer based training option giving our clients the ability to train employees at their own pace. The first to offer Night Schools, Walkarounds, custom training, online support, etc., etc.

In that proud tradition, we hope to further redefine what CAD users should come to expect from their reseller. We are proud of our reputation for putting the customer first in every area of our operations and feel that this attitude is one of the most important contributors to our success and to satisfying the needs of our customers. We are confident that our people will continue to provide the necessary tools to push end user gains to new heights.

We would also like to thank our customers for their continued feedback that allows us to continually lead our industry with new and innovative solutions for today’s problems and tomorrow's. Our customers are special because they embrace technology. They continually look for ways to improve upon their company’s products. I can honestly say that each of our customers has the desire to be leaders of their respective industries.
