SolidWorks Instructor-Led Training Classes:
SolidWorks Essentials
This course teaches how to use the SolidWorks software to build parametric models of parts and assemblies, and how to make simple drawings of those parts and assemblies.
SolidWorks Drawings
This course is a comprehensive treatment of how to create engineering drawings of parts and assemblies using SolidWorks software.
Advanced Assembly Modeling
This course covers the assembly modeling capabilities of SolidWorks. Topics include top-down assembly modeling, advanced mate techniques, assembly configurations and design tables, editing and repair of assemblies, and methods for working with large assemblies.
Advanced Part Modeling
This course covers multi-body solids, sweeping, splines, and lofting. It is the prerequisite for the Advanced Surface Modeling and Mold Design Using SolidWorks courses.
Advanced Surface Modeling
This course focuses on consumer product design. Surface modeling techniques, hybrid surface/solid modeling methods, and the interoperability between surfaces and solids are covered. The Advanced Part Modeling course is a prerequisite.
Sheet Metal
This course covers how to build sheet metal parts using SolidWorks software. Topics include building standalone sheet metal parts, converting parts to sheet metal, and modeling sheet metal parts in the context of an assembly.
Weldments
This course covers how to create welded structures with standard structural members and tubing. Topics also include special drawing functions such as creating cut lists.
Mold Design Using Solidworks
Mold Design Using SolidWorks teaches you several manual mold creation techniques and how to use the Mold Tools in SolidWorks mechanical design automation software.
SolidWorks Routing
Routing explains how to create, edit and manage Piping Tubing and Electrical routes, from the critical routing components and their design requirements to the sub-assemblies that contain the routes.
SolidWorks File Management
This course covers how to manage files within SolidWorks. Topics include explanations of the SolidWorks file structure, file references, file associativity, and how to manage a multi-user environment. This course is a prerequisite for all of the PDMWorks courses, and is also ideal for any SolidWorks user not using PDMWorks.
SolidWorks Workgroup PDM CAD Editor
The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of SolidWorks Workgroup PDM. The intended audience for this course is SolidWorks users. Prerequisite for the class is basic experience with the SolidWorks software and the File Management class.
SolidWorks PDM Enterprise CAD Editor
The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of SolidWorks Enterprise PDM. The intended audience for this course is anyone who will manage files with SolidWorks Enterprise PDM.
Administering SolidWorks Workgroup PDM
The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of SolidWorks Workgroup PDM. The intended audience for this course is Vault Administrators. Prerequisites for the class include SolidWorks File Management and SolidWorks Workgroup CAD Editor.
SolidWorks Simulation Formerly COSMOSWorks Designer
An introductory course on the linear static stress finite element analysis. The covered material includes the entire analysis process from meshing to evaluation of results for parts and assemblies, gap/contact analysis, best practices and others.
SolidWorks Simulation Professional Formerly COSMOSWorks Professional
An extension to the linear static finite element analysis focusing on frequency, buckling, heat transfer and thermal stress analyses, drop test, optimization, fatigue and pressure vessel analysis.
